How You Can Help
As the saying goes, when it rains, it pours! The overwhelming and amazingly positive attention we have received from the media and interested members of the public has been a truly humbling experience, and we are both thrilled and grateful. We politely beg your pardon as we continue in our ninth month of existence, with no dedicated full-time staff, and with some of our key members in the midst of training and deployment. Right now this is a mission of the heart, and one that we are glad you are here to support and learn more about.
As we grow and gain visibility as an organization, here's what you can do to help advance our cause:

These are the ways we will keep you abreast of new developments in our organization, what's happening with our members and our support of the AFCECO orphanages, and other important news and events we want you to know about.
2. Stand with us
As the public debate intensifies over U.S. policy in Afghanistan, we call on you to let those around you know that, regardless of the politics of the matter, it is vitally important that we all come together in support of helping Afghans in their efforts to rebuild their country and cultivate peace, justice, and prosperity in their society.
3. Let other veterans and supporters know about us
Help us spread the good word by letting any veterans or potential supporters know who we are and what we're doing!
4. Volunteer your talents and services
Veterans for Afghanistan has existed only since April 2009, but it's been a simply incredible few months! We have a pro-bono legal team helping us to incorporate and become an official nonprofit. We have a professional web designer working on upgrading our website. Do you have nonprofit experience? Would you like to be more involved? 5. Organize an event in your area
The vision of Veterans for Afghanistan is to be everywhere that you are. Your story, your motivation and passion to reach back a helping hand to the Afghans who need our help. So why not organize a meeting, a fundraiser, or an AFGHANISTAN STORIES event in your own area? We'll help all we can. Let's talk.
